Offered for your bidding is an eight piece Gorham Chantilly sterling silver specialty serving set.

French in character of design, the pattern derives its name from the famous palace of Chantilly situated some twenty odd miles from Paris. It is of the time of Louis XV - a period of great refinement of taste in designs for silverware, furniture and decor. A simple and elegant way to dress your table for holidays and special events.

Included in this special serving set are: a slotted sugar sifter/tea strainer, tiny ladle, larger gravy ladle, bon bon/nut spoon, jelly server, small fork (salad), cheese server, and butter server.

Details:

They measure between 5 1/4" to 7" long, are in very good to excellent condition and three items have monograms - the large ladle, bon bon spoon and butter server have a script "S". The blade on the cheese server is marked "stainless", the slotted sugar/tea strainer and the salad fork are marked "GORHAM STERLING" and all the other items are hallmarked with the Gorham lion, anchor, G, Pat. 1895, Sterling. These items look unused and are freshly polished and brilliant. Also included is the flannel storage roll for long lasting tarnish resistance.
