Model house of Graceland, Elvis Presley's home. A good condition model of Graceland, either in stone cast plaster or resin. It is fairly large at 25cm wide x 20cm deep x 11.5 cm tall. It is incredibly detailed featuring the main house even down to 'stained glass' windows, the garden and outer wall with a little pink cadillac on the drive, the little gates open and it is fully lit too. On a wooden base coloured to a mahogany finish, there is a little plaque with the words; "Graceland. His memory lives on." On the base is printed the Hawthorne village marks and the sculpture number and it is copyrighted for 2002, which may help with its age. There is a battery compartment underneath to hold 4 AA size batteries, I have checked and the lights do work. ( Please note that because of the postal rules here in the UK I can't include batteries) There is no original box and no power cable, but the lights do work fine on batteries. It is a bit of a dust gatherer but I have gone over it with a soft fine paintbrush. No chips or bits missing, one window when lit does seem to have a very thin wall beneath that lets the light shine through a little but this look like a manufacturing defect and is very small. It is a fun item, thank you very much for looking.
