I bought 2 of these a while back to make Grandfathers clocks for my kids. I never got around to making them so I am putting them up for sale. This auction is for 1 of the kits. I may list the other one at a later date. I also have directions for the wood cases that I was going to make which I will include free of charge. The directions are from a Popular Mechanics article from October and November of 1969. The picture of the completed clock is from the article and directions to build the case. The case is not included and will have to be built. You can build this case with some pretty basic tools and just intermediate skill-a table saw, scroll saw, and router will do. I was going to use a darker stain and modify the dimensions to fit this movement set. I was going to use dark walnut and figured the cost to be about $175-200.The movement kit is new in the box. I opened one of them to take the pictures and to check to see that everything was present and accounted for. It is all there. The kit includes everything but the case parts. The dial is 15 1/2x11" and has no markings. The movement is a Hermle 1161-853 CSK 114cm. The weight shells are polished brass and the lead weights are also there. The pendulum is a Lyre 114 cm polished brass pendulum. The hands are the standard Hermle hands as shown in the pictures. There are 12 chime rods
