Skeleton & Roses

In 1966, Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse searched the San Francisco Public Library for poster ideas for a Grateful Dead gig at the Avalon Ballroom.

They found a perfect subject in an illustration by Edmund Sullivan in “The Rubycat of Omar Khayyam.”

The Mouse/Kelley rendition has become one of the great icons of rock ’n roll history.

Postage cost reflects packaging to protect this lithograph on its way to its new Deadhead home.
