I have a excellent Civil War Albumen Photograph of a Federal 1st Lieutenant standing studio view with hand on his hip, and wearing a Nine button Frock Coat. His 1st Lt. bars are clearly visible. This photo is VERY clear, much better than my photos. The subject has stripes along the trowsers possibly a Staff Officer. The photo is mounted in a modern frame and has been matted. The out to out of frame measures 9 1/4" X 11 1/4". The inside of frame is 8 1/16" X 10". The oval albumen size is 5 1/4" X 7 3/8". T is a gold ring around the albumen and at the bottom the photographers imprint: Photographed by GILL, Lancaster,PA. The frame has some dings and the photo is held in place on the reverse with small nails on the top and sides, and t is a wire for hanging on a wall. Note: I have never hung this on a wall, has been kept in climate controlled room, in a dark place. This is a excellent image and would be an excellent addition to your collection. I have had this in my collection for 10 years and left it in the frame. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is a great image! I accept PAYPAL, Money Orders, Bank Checks. Personal Checks must clear before I ship. Please check my other auctions. Thanks... I want to pass along that t is another auction, A full Civil War cdv album from Lancaster,PA with a photo of this same officer and
