Great Early Primitive Wood Wagon Box in old Green Paint

This nice on wagon box has the inscription "John Wilton Chew's Wagon. Go to Beards Wagon Yard" in old red-orange paint over green. The Box is pine and made with square nails. It has great wear to it, as you can see in the photos. The box was purchased in Massachusetts, but I don't know of Beards Wagon Yard was in Massachusetts or elsew It is a very cool box, but we're moving and must sell some of our stuff. I'm sad to see it go - I haven't had it long.

Size: 11" long, 5 1/2" wide (at top), 4 3/4" high (at highest).

Condition: One of the original wire staples is present. The other seems to have split off with the break shown in photo 6. This is an old break since it's been repaired with an old square nail and glue.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
