GREAT LAKES Steamship BOAT Ship REGISTRY LOG 1891-1947
- Source: eBay
's something we've never seen before, and frankly, aren't quite certain of what it is. Can you help? We would be delighted to add your comments as an addendum to our description. Thanks!
This listing is for a 3-Ring Binder that holds over 60 individual Record Logs, each of which contains the Company Graphic that is used to Identify the Line, and as well, records (what seems like) the year various ships came into service and their names. We took as many pictures as eBay will allow, so you can see close-ups of many of these pages, and we are hopeful that the experts in the eBay community will recognize this format. Please scroll down to see our photographs.
Although the Binder is missing its Cover, the pages are all in good condition and quite legible. The Bound Log measures approximately 12 by 6 inches and each Record Page is about 6 by 3 ½ inches. T is a treasure trove of information on each sheet of this Registry Book. Just the roll call of names of the Tugs of the Great Lakes Towing Company (Alabama, America, Arizona, California, Colorado, Conneaut... etc.) was enough to kick start our curiosity and imagination!
From the first page to the last (not necessarily in alphabetical order), the Companies Represented Include :
Ann Arbor Railway Co
