Up for auction is a very fine early Qing Dynasty Imperial porcelain of a plate decorated with green dragons. The large plate has a rounded deep side sitting on a tall foot ring. The interior center well is painted with a large vertically striding dragon chasing the flaming pearl among cloud motif in fine green enamel with outline and details in black. The reserve space of the center roundel is decorated with incised wave pattern under the glaze within a blue double-ring. The interior mouth rim is further lined with a blue double-ring. The exterior is similarly decorated with four green dragons chasing one another among incised wave and green clouds. The mouth rim is lined with a band of small cloud motif in cobalt blue. The base inside the foot rim is inscribed with a six-character Kangxi Imperial mark within a double-ring in blue. The beautiful Imperial green dragon plate is in excellent condition with fine glaze and jewel-like green enamel.Size: diameter:20.1cm height: 4.5cmWe are collectors of Asian art for the past 40 years.
