Sell all your items in every auction with Andale Gallery "Greenback" First Armored Corps Shoulder Sleeve Insigne First Armored Corps SSI Description: Details: This is the shoulder sleeve insigne worn on uniforms by members of the First Armored Corps, whose first commanding general was none other then GEN George S. Patton, Jr., about the time he was transferred to California to establish the mammoth Desert Training Center (later called the California-Arizona Maneuver Area). The SSI is in very good, apparently unused, condition (I found a half dozen of them in a group). Most notably, however, the SSI has the "greenback" bobbin thread (usually it was white), which has recently become a "must have" for insignia collectors (see image below). The buyer will have my usual five-day right of inspection and return privilege. Weight 4 oz.
