GS Allen 234 Gold Bronze Bookends Uniform Stateman Officer Horse Guards

For your consideration, a pair of bronze bookends. They are engraved marked “GS Allen and numbered 234“ . The image on is of horseman/officer riding a horse with his armed men walking in front, behind and on his side in a forest (?)/trees. The horseman is wearing a long coat, boots, scarf and hat. Each of the men are in uniform carrying rifles and one man is carrying a flag. They have green felt on the bottom and measure 5 ¼” in height, 5 ¼” in width and 2” in length. They are magnificently detailed and in excellent condition, however they could use a little cleaning.
