W.H. Horstmann Officers Civil War Sword // Mother of Pearl handle / Maybe 1860 ?

Beautiful Mother of Pearl handle civil war sword. Makers mark W.H. Horseman on scabbard only. Beautiful patina . A little rust on end of blade. Scabbard looks great . Handle just a little loose but very strong . Nice gold etching on half of the sword. Scabbard looks like brass with beautiful etchings also. Looks like it ( the scabbard ) has a few minor repairs made with a silver color metal but are not that noticeable . Looks like the numbers "60" are inscribed on the scabbard but I can't say for sure ....see picture ... The sword was found in the house of a 93 year man who passed in Pa. With it was a 1838 Springfield musket in good shape but I can't list that here . This sword is the real deal ... not a replica. I am selling for a friend and he said he doesn't know what it is but doesn't want to fool with any returns so ask any questions up front before you bid.
