Up for this no reserve listing is a vintage hand-carved wooden double-chamber flute instrument, I believe of Native American origin. It measures 12" in length, 2" in width across the bottom, 1 3/8" in width at the mouthpiece, and about 3/4" thick. I am unsure of the type of wood that was used - I do know that the piece originated from the Pacific Northwest region. I have no idea how to play it. It has an exquisite hand-carved design and is light oak in color, with a light varnish to the finish. It is in excellent condition, with no cracks or splits that I can see, and some light wear around the mouthpiece. Age unknown. If anyone out t could clue me in with details, I'd sure appreciate it. Fantastic piece!
