Hand Colored Map 1873 Frederick Cty New Market etc.

Up for sale is a nice very large hand colored map of New Market and Ijamsville in Frederick County from 1873. The map was published by C.O. Titus and Company and comes from an Atlas of Frederick County Maryland published in 1873. The maps are from actual surveys, "by and under the directions of D.J. Lake." A great piece of local history and potentially a nice piece for someone who owned/ owns family land in this area. Very Rare. Titus published a number of these local atlases for various counties and all are extremely rare. The map was Hand colored by Titus and company and is not a modern coloring. Map measures approximately 13 and 1/2 inches inches by 15 and 1/4 inches.
