Hand Crank Magneto Telephone Jydsk by Emil Mollers of Denmark c1910 Aktieseiskab
Hard to find and in very good condition is this early telephone by JYDSK (Telefon Aktieselskab) of Denmark. Made around 1910, this hand-cranked magneto phone still maintains it's vintage beauty with nice graphics and typical wear for its age. Lots of nice chromed parts and bakelite ear and mouth pieces. The receiver handle and crank handle are of wood with the main body of the device being steel. Original cloth covered cord is in good condition but has been taped at the end where it was frayed. The hand cranked magneto appears to be in working condition with a medium resistance felt when cranking. Stands about 12 3/4" tall with a width of 7" and depth of 5". The handle is 10" wide.
