This is a wonderful decorator tile from Portugal. This Faience / Majolica Tile is pre-owned and in excellent condition. From an estate full of treasures, this colorful tile measures a large 14 1/4" x 10 1/2". The tile is marked 410 Conimbriga Portugal Sec XVII Made in Portugal". The name "Luis" is also written on the back. This piece was inspired by a 17th century faience piece (that's what Sec XVII means). Bears a label that reads "Taste Setter by Sigma" and 'for decorative purposes only'. This tile would be lovely displayed on a plate rack or used as a trivet. I have several other similar tiles that would make nice pairing for display. Please view my other listings. Shipped by calculated USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Select.
