Handmade Ranch Roping Saddle 14" by Don Rich

Handmade Ranch Roping Saddle 14" by Don Rich.

This will make a great youth ranch saddle, or will fit a long legged rider as well....either way it's stout enough to rope bulls out of.

It is built on a wood/rawhide wrapped (Quarter Horse Bars) Will James style tree that measures 14". The horn is 3 1/2” tall with a 2 1/2" rawhide reinforced cap. The swells measure 14”, and the cantle is 4” tall with a rawhide pencil roll. Gullet width is 6 3/4", and the skirts measure 25 1/2" in length with 14" of drop and are lined with synthetic fleece.

This saddle is constructed with Hermann Oak leather and tooled in a basketweave pattern with oiled rough out seat and fenders. The saddle is double dee rigged with stainless steel hardware, and is accented with slotted rust iron and silver conchos and saddle strings, as well as 2 1/2" rawhide wrapped stirrups.

The skirts are cut away for close contact and to remove the bulk created by the latigo straps. This saddle is backed with a lifetime warranty on the tree. I will stand behind the overall workmanship by warranting it for one year against defects under normal use.

The saddle will be offered for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the listing early.

I am selling this as a "Fixed Price" item, so you can purchase the item with the "Buy
