Pretty Handpainted 19th C Dessert Dish Floral Pat 4208 ? Alcock
Description This pretty 19th Century Dessert Dish has two handles that are moulded with leaves. It is handpainted with a border of bright Green and Gilt Scrolls, Flowers and Leafy Fronds with a bouquet of Flowers in the centre. There is a pattern number 4208 on the reverse, together with a red decorators mark. I am not sure of the maker, possibly Samuel Alcock. The Dish is in good condition, no chips, cracks or restoration. There is some wear to the gilding on the rim, the rest of the decoration is in good order.
