This is a VERY EARLY color Sunday from Harold Foster's incomparable Prince Valiant newspaper strip: the very tenth Sunday, #10 for April 17, 1937. Trimmed tab format. This lot is a single page from the high-quality duplicates of the Gale Paulson Complete Prince Valiant collection auctioned off earlier this year. As VAL collectors know, these early Sundays are EXTREMELY HARD TO GET! To my knowledge, these dates were never published in FULL size, so tabs is all t is! Furthermore, if you want to see the actual color scheme devised by Foster for these Sundays, you NEED to get these tabs: T isn't a SINGLE Val Sundays reprint book that is completely accurate in its color reproduction of the original color PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER EARLY VAL SUNDAY TABS AUCTIONS! I'll be auctioning off many more in the coming weeks. Page is a TRIMMED tab. It is in EXCELLENT condition: Complete, solid colors, excellent registration. Paper has minimal browning, and no tears. The Sunday number is pencilled in in small size to the left on the banner. Shipped securely in flat package. Money orders, checks and BidPay payments accepted.
