A little bird pin with a turquoise eye. It is probably Navajo in origin, and of the type of jewelry made for the tourist trade and sold by the Fred Harvey Company, Southwest Arts and Crafts, and Maisel's. It is unmarked silver, coin grade or better. I have also seen this same design bearing the mark of the United Indian Trader's Association (UITA), but this one is unmarked. It has decorative stamping to represent the feathers. It is 1 7/8 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall and weighs 6 grams. It has a rollover safety clasp and a very nice patina.
