Hawaiian Art Violin Ukelin 1920s excellent condition w/ wood box and all papers!

I live in a retirement community in Maryland, which has a Benevolent Fund which is used to help those residents who are no longer able to pay for their care. Many residents help them by giving sales from a gift shop, donations, "garage sales", etc. I am putting items at auction or BIN that belonged to various residents who are donating them to help with this fund.

This is one of the most complete items I have seen on Ebay! Someone made a really nice American primitive wood box with an enclosed area in the lid for all the papers and accessories! The leather handle on the outside of the box has come off, but it has swing hooks to hold it closed.

It was manufactured by the "Hawaiian Art Violin Co. , not inc." in the 1920's. I even have the sheet of paper which the owner kept track of all the sheet music he bought (and included) totaling $2.50 for 28 sheets of music! The violin even has its own cloth bag! Original cost was $35.00, expensive for that era.

If you are a collector, this is a really nice set!
