I am offering for bid a hard to find pair of elegant glass candlesticks. They are from the Heisey Glass Company. The color is their rare Moongleam. The candlesticks are each 3 lites, referred to as "triplex". The Heisey number is 136. Each stick stands 6 1/2" high with a base which measures 6 1/4" by 4 1/2". T is a cut and polished pontil on the bottom. The entire bottom has been ground and polished. The open quality of the mould work made these candlesticks extremely fragile. They are listed in the Candlestick Book, Volume 2, as SCARCE. T is only one condition issue which has to be addressed and it is a small manufacturing flaw. One of the candle openings has a very small extra bump of glass. I think I caught it well in one of the photos. Other than this very minor intrusion the condition of both candlesticks is EXCELLENT with no nips, chips, cracks or bruises. Thanks for looking. Enjoy the pictures. Bid.
