This very interesting large modernist/abstract work was completed by Helen Dooley Circa 1965. A "modernist" landscape work, entitled "Scrub Oaks", it is painted in oils on stretched canvas and housed in it's original carved wood frame with linen liner.

This work is signed by Dooley on the front L/R corner. There is a sticker on the back stating the following...." #172 Scrub Oaks, 30 X 22, 1965". She has also provided that information (in her hand) on the back stretcher bar.

In it's original frame it measures an overall size of 36 1/2" X 28 1/2". The painting is in very good condition. The frame is in nice condition.

A nice Helen Dooley modernist / abstract example!
