The Cover features Two Photos, one a close-up showing the area of the Damage, clearly visable when she returned to Portsmouth after the Conflict. The Bomb miraculously went straight through the Ship with no casualties.
The Stamps are the Label issued for 50th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift and cancelled with Our Own Sponsored Special Handstamp.
The Cover is signed by Rear Admiral P.Hoddinott, CB OBE, who in the rank of Captain was Commanding Officer at the time.
Only 150 of these "Official" First Day Covers were Produced.
