This picture collage salutes the Houston Astros team that debuted in 1965 when the Astrodome opened and the Colt 45's were renamed the Astros in its honor. The collage features Topps cards from the era that depict 20 of the players. Card images are 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" or about one third the size of a real card. There is also a picture of of the Astrodome. Highlighting the collage is the autograph of Jim Wynn who has signed a baseball card from that era. This is a great collectible for any baseball fan. Please note that we can make up a similar collage for any team between 1950-1990. E-mail us for details. The size of this matted picture is 12" x 16" and will fit any 12" x 16" inch frame. (a standard size). Solid Oak frames are available for an additional $30 with no increase in shipping charges. (This option does not apply when shipping outside the US. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage.
