HTF Large, Weller Pottery Jardiniere Vase Urn - "Clinton Ivory" Pattern

Up for bid is a large, old, original, unsigned piece of American art pottery by Weller in the Ivory (Clinton-Ivory) pattern. As noted, it is unmarked but is shown on page 125 of the 1987 book, "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery" by Sharon and Bob Huxford. It is a jardiniere in matte glaze featuring a simple, yet elegant creamy color both inside and out which sets the stage for its raised, nature-inspired decoration of 2 squirrels nestled in and among trees, leaves, and acorns. And there are 2 hairlines that begin on the rim of the opening and extend vertically downward approximately 3 inches. All hairlines, while clearly visible on inspection, are tight. On the outside rim, there is a very small break in the glaze but not what I would call a chip. And finally, the shading of the brown is uneven - purposeful, I don't know. You be the judge based on what you know, please.
