Offered is a sterling silver figure of a Northern Plains American Indian, believed to be a note pad holder. Figure is striking bust form of American Indian in full bonnet, flowing out into a wonderful abstract design, all crafted by hand, not cast , and measures a little under 6" across by 4.5" inches at highest point with a hefty weight of 6+ troy ounces. Piece is marked "sterling", but the quality of the craftsmanship places this object as crafted by an important american maker. Some minor age associated wear to base of piece, excellent condition besides. This is an important, hand wrought piece of antique silver, being sold with a modest reserve.
