This nice crinoid piece is from the Edwardsville formation that occurs around Crawfordsville Indiana, the age is Mississippian. The rare crinoid is on the right and it is a Synbathocrinus blairi and it is 2 1/4 inches long with 5/8 inch of stem. The other crinoids are Macrocrinus mundulus and Paradichocrinus planus. The matrix is a grey siltstone and it is 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The postage 4.00 in the US and 6.00 international.
