1930's Irice Jeweled& Filigree Czech Perfume Bottle Sweet little miniature vintage perfume scent bottle known as the "Little Dram" that was imported from Czechoslovakia by the the NY firm of Iriving W. Rice during the 1930's (pre WWII). Bottle features a pair of jadite green opaque glass "jeweled" Dutch shoe charms hanging on delicate chains that have a bright cut pattern. Gilt finished lid is also studded with faceted jewels in a rainbow of colors. Base of the lid is filigreed & has embossed daisies. Clear pressed glass bottle has a button-like pattern. Stopper screws in relatively easily (gets a little sticky on the last turn) & the glass dauber is intact with no damage (but it is a tad loose & wiggles around a bit). T is a tag on the side of the lid that is stamped "Czecho-slovakia". The base of the bottle is embossed " Irice " in script. Approximately 2 1/2" high.
A stone fell out of a shoe just as I finished photographing it (shown below). I have the stone & will leave it to the new owner to put it back in place. All other jewels are intact. Gilt finish on stopper has some light wear around the edges with what appears to be brass peeking through. The chain has some tiny spots of green corrosion (verdigris). The interior of the bottle has a few spots of perfume residue
