The provenance of these two knives, one Gurkha, the other a bayonet, is by implication that they are IRA. In 1952, a man, digging in his back garden on Ahsfield Rd.,Ranelagh,Dudlin, dug up a number of rifles and two pistols,Mausers. Also, these two knives. They were wrapped in water-proof wrapping. The firearms were handed to authorities. He kept two knives. It would seem it was an IRA weapons cache. Iwill tell winner the address on Ashfield Rd. Shipping to Ireland is $25. Rust is from being basement 50-60 yrs.
