May IRWIN signature on card, Canadian-born actress first on-screen kiss

May IRWIN (1862-1938) Canadian actress, singer and vaudevillian, hugely popular in America at the turn of the 20th century, credited with the first on-screen kiss, and there is speculation that she concocted the name for the salad dressing, "Thousand Islands dressing".
Signature on card " May Irwin ", 60 x 97 mm. (2 3/8 x 3 3/4 in.). Light toning and soiling as shown, else very good condition.
