J A Henckels Stag German Forestry Hunting Dagger Knife

Up for consideration is a rare Henckels German forestry hunting dagger. This dagger is marked J.A. Henckels Solingen. This dagger has a stag handle with an accorn top nut. The front of the blade has a unique design. T are ferns, deer or elk grazing the forest. T is a design with a gun, horn and scrolling with a bird dog at the top section. The reverse side has ferns, horns and gun design with a wild boar. T is some more designs with a large rabbit on top. This dagger has the original scabbard or sheath. This measures 15 inches long. T are 2 round brass rings attached to the sheath. I believe these were used with a leather carrying strap. The dagger measures 19 inches in length. The blade is 13 3/4 inches long. The sheath was also designed for a small knife under the clam shell. This knife is missing. The dagger has a one long edge with a shorter edge on top. The blade edge is smooth and is unsharpened. Please review the photographs for the best idea of the style and condition. The picture quality is poor compaired to actual hands on condition. This dagger is in tight clean condition.
