A fine & rare Worcester saucer, c. 1770, decorated in the London workshop of James Giles. Beautifully painted in the Meissen style with spiralling swags of flowers & insects, within a gilt dentil rim.Underglaze crossed swords & number 9 within footrim.Diameter- 5 1/8", 13cm.Condition - Section broken out and reattached.
