JAPANESE ART SILK KIMONO "VINTAGE FUKURO OBI" WOVEN CHERRY BLOSSOM SIZE 160" x 12" approximately. DESCRIPTION The pattern is a weave on one face and partially on the other face. The age is the Showa Period. The condition is very good. No damage, no holes, no tear. There are some folds by used. The base color is metallic navy/lime. MATERIAL: Silk NOTES: Almost all our items are used and vintage. Whenever buying used, vintage and antique textiles they may have mothball, musty, smoke, or personal smell. Any of these smells will go away by ventilation. KIMONO CLEANING The traditional way to clean a kimono is to unpick all the stitching, lay the pieces out on a wooden board and gently wash them, then hand sew it all together again. Nowadays, most Japanese opt for dry cleaning. Dry cleaning is the safest bet, especially for the silk ones . Private collection sale. No return is accepted.
