LOWER PRICE! This is a great book on the works of Frank Brangwyn and Yoshijiro (Mokuchu) Urushibara, who created some of the finest and most atmospheric woodblock prints of the early 20 th century. It is a large museum catalog of a Tokyo exhibit of their work, dating from 2010. The exhibit is finished and the catalog is now out of print. Soft cover, 244pp. Text in English and Japanese. Excellent condition, essentially like new. Exceptionally well illustrated, full color throughout. In addition to the collaborative prints, there are numerous examples of Brangwyn’s paintings, drawings and etchings. Also, there is an extensive appendix, with pictures of the artists, the studio and much more. Absolutely the best book to date on these fine printmakers. Shipping will be via JapanPost SAL service ($20); there is no tracking number or insurance, but I have never had a problem with them (knock wood). If you need speedier delivery, a tracking number, and/or insurance, please let me know before checking out, and I can adjust the total accordingly.
