Jobling Reg No 806062 Art Deco Birds of Paradise Blue Glass Bowl - Lalique Influenced An attractive blue glass bowl, the inner surface polished, the exterior relief moulded with three birds of paradise in flight, frosted finish. Marked with a Registration number 806062 which is not really readable dates the design to 1935. This bird version of the bowl is relatively rare, pattern number 2602, the mould was produced by Etienne Franckhauser who also made moulds for Lalique and Sabino. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: This bowl does have some nibbles to the surface, 2 to the outside and at least 3 to the inside, some may be air bubbles on the surface. Tiny nibbles around the top rim and what looks like a small hairline in the top rim measuring about 5mm. Scratches inside the bowl from use and wear to the birds where they act as feet.
