Johann Mouse Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse Animation Drawing Group (MGM, 1953). Fourteen animation drawings featuring Tom playing piano and Jerry dancing! The 75th Tom and Jerry short directed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera was the 7th (and last) Tom and Jerry short to win an Academy Award. It received a total of 13 Oscar nominations that year. Ken Muse and Irv Spence were some of the people who animated this classic short that featured the music of Johann Strauss II. The piano in the short was played by Jakob Gimpet and the cartoon was narrated by Hans Conried. It was set in Vienna, where Johann Mouse can't help but dance when Strauss is played. Nice Sequence of Tom in graphite with red highlights, measuring 5" to 6". Jerry is also in graphite with red highlights and he is 1" to 1.5" tall. They are 12 field 3-peghole format. Slight tanning, during production some pegholes were taped onto some pages of art. Minor corner/edge wear and paper clip marks. In Fine condition. Grade: 0, Service: Uncertified, Service No.: 1397500
