A very nice frosted glass figure of Queen Victoria modelled in standing pose with ceremonial robes to a clear glass fluted circular base widely attributed to the John Derbyshire factory although it has no maker's mark to confirm this. It stands approximately 22 cm. high and is in very nice condition with only a very small slither of glass off one part of the fluted base and what appears to be some very fine manufacturing stress lines down one of her arms that have some dirt in them ( picture 9 refers ). All in all a very nice example of this hard to find paperweight.
