June 29,1941 Souvenir Program Hollywood Bowl USO Thanks I am offering for auction a wonderful piece of memorabilia. The Year is 1941 where in the Spring a new organization was formed "The USO" to give thanks, entertainment and encouragement to our Military Men serving this great nation. On Sunday June 29, 1941 a large group of Stars and Celebrities put on a show at the famed Hollywood Bowl to entertain 5,000 Soldiers from several camps near the LA area. This is a Souvenir Program from that evening... listing the evenings events and stars...but this souvenir has been enhanced by the added signatures of many of the people performing that evening. I will list the ones that I can make out but there are some I am unable to determine. The back page signatures are printed on the program...all others on front cover and main program are in pencil or Fountain pen ink. This a truly wonderful piece of memorabilia for both USO collectors and of course the individual Star Lovers. Signatures are: Gene Autry, Barbara Stanwick, Dick Powell, Edward Arnold, Edward G.
