Kay Archtop, 16" body, pearloid inlay, unusual bound f-holes...A blues guitar from the day when rhythm was king! This is a very playable Kay from sometime in the late 1930s or mid-1940s. The sound is the wonderful fast-decay rhythm chopthis design is known for. It has been professionally repaired and set up and is ready to make music. It has bound f-holes and isabout 16" across the lower bout, waist about 9", upper bout about 11". I have not been able to find one exactly like it, particularly with the bound f-holes.It has some very typical age and use related wear but also has character and is fun to play! Unless you use Buy it Now on July 22 or 23 I will not be able to ship until August 1.
