Hi,i have for sale a nice looking Art deco Kienzle mantle clock that was designed by Heinrich Moeller c1935.This clock has good proportions and looks great.I will say though, the original movement has been removed and a quartz one has been put in its place (Shame!)The clock runs fine though and does keep great time as you would expect.Everything else is here though and there is an interesting part to this clock. The rear plate is marked that it would have been a mechanical wind, however it has been electrified by Kienzle and is stamped 240v at the rear. There is also a cord gland at the bottom and i thought that these were only mechanical wind movement. The case is brass and measures 9 inches in diameter. There is some age related marks here and there on the brass. The clock dial is fine, there are two small dents on the side of the brass case. Also there is some age related marks on the white sections of the chapter ring. The back plate simply slides into the rear body but is a good tight fit.It is a nice clock worth completing if you have a spare movement,or you can simply use it without the need for winding. The postage will be £7 to send UK,£28 for Europe,£35 for the US,£45 for Australia and China. Many thanks for looking(;o)
