Up for bids is an original Knights Templar sword manufactured and/or distributed by F.A. Armstrong of Chicago, Ill.. As for the date of manufacture the guess would be early to mid 20 c. The sword and scabbard are in very good condition, the only exceptions being the rust, which is pictured, that runs back from the tip about 9" on both sides, but may clean up, and t is also a VERY slight ding to the tip- hardly noticeable. T is also a slight looseness to the cross guard. The only other issues are just typical light to moderate finish wear. The sword is named and this is pictured. This would be a great addition to any Masonis/sword collection. Check out the Knights Templar sword hanger belt the seller has listed this week.
