Octagonal gold filled overlay manufactured in Italy by Kosca during the early to mid 30's. It is in remarkably good condition with negligible plating wear, no spurious engravings but it does have a few dings to the end of the blind cap and cap. The clip is tight and secure. It has been dismantled and cleaned of old ink and fitted with a new sac. The button filling mechanism appears to work well when tested with water. It has its original 14ct Kosca springy medium to broad nib that writes nicely but with a hint of feedback. This is a smallish pen at 11.7cm capped, 15cm posted and 1.1 cm wide at the barrel mid point. It has nice, hefty feel in the hand. It will make a nice addition to any collection of Italian pens and perform admirably in regular use.
