LARGE Antique Pennsylvania Redware Art Pottery Vase Description: Here for auction is this large, antique redware Vase It has dogear handles and with wavy scribed decoration. Redware glaze with brown patches. Circa early 19th C., Probably from Pennsylvania. Apparently unmarked; unsigned. Measurements: approx. 10 1/4" tall. approx. 7" in diameter at the rim, 6 1/4" at the base. Condition: Very Good Condition!Beautiful, antique patina, with even crazing throughout. It has even roughness and wear around the rim, at the handles, and around perimeter of the body. (see close-ups). All is just typical glaze wear. It has a thin, early chip at the base. (see close-up). Some interior water staining, but think most of this will clean out. N o other chips. No cracks or repairs! Great, Antique redware!
