Fresh from a fine local estate clock collection, is a very large and beautiful antique bracket clock featuring a 5 gong westminster chime and a heavy 3 spring movement. It is running nicely and keeping excellent time. The quarter hour and hourly count Westminster chime is working as it should as well and sounds very good. It measures 17" tall x 12" wide x 7 3.4" in depth. The metal dial bezel measures a larger 8 3/4" in diameter. The beautiful case features some very nice inlays in the areas underneath the dial and this case is also trimmed with four brass ball finials, brass feet, and two brass tipped columns on each side of the dial. This is a beauty. The movement is stamped "HH" near the bottom but those are the only markings that I see. The pendulum is obviously a makeshift pendulum and not the original but it has been calibrated very nicely for this clock because it is keeping excllent time. The finish is very good overall but has some very, very minor nicks and skuffs but is far above average for a clock of this age. I'm not sure of the precise wood composition. I am offering the clock exactly as is and as found from a local estate and I do not know it's history, so please ask any questions you may have and I will try to answer them. A beautiful and impressive antique bracket clock.
