Lester Johnson is Detroit-based an artist and teacher. He received his B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Michigan. Taught at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Johnson exhibited his work in the Detroit Institute of Arts (24 shows), Whitney Museum of American Art in New York (3 shows), as well as numerous galleries and museums across the United States and abroad. His work is also extensively represented in both private and public collection.
