Lladro Oriental Girl #4840 designed by Vincente Martinez in 1973. An elegant Japense woman kneels before a low table and places gladioli in a vase. Elongated figure with pastel gloss colors. Beautifully detailed modeling, especially in the low relief of the vase and her kimono. Lladro backstamp as well as modeler and decorator markings as shown in photo. Measures 5-3/4 x 4-3/8 x 11-1/2 inches tall Good to very good condition. The branch she places in the vase is broken, but this does not detract much from the presentation. We show the branch placed on the table. No chips, cracks, dings or other damage. There is some epoxy on her finger from an attempted repair. Circa 1973-1994Made in Spain Please see our inventory for more Lladro, as well as antiques of all kinds.
