Loraine was not well enough to come and play so the Little People entertained her; Crest O' Wave and the Little People of the Ocean; King of the-Mer; Princess Rain Drop; the Flower Folk; Madame Sun and the Rain people; Queen O' Sleep; the Wind people; Little Leaves; Jack Frost and his Merry Men. Illustrated with 16 stunning & vibrant art deco style color & 17 in black and white by M.T. (Penny) Ross. Square 12mo. Bound in red cloth over boards with pictorial cover plate to front cover. Four straight pin holes to the blank free endpaper.The mildest of rubbing to edges. A fine, tight, bright copy of this exceedingly rare phantasmagoria of fairies. Someone used a small stamp that reads "editorial" to the blank endpapers front and back, there is even a very faint mark of it on the upper edge of the front cover, see first photo. Four pages of ads to rear. M.T. Penny Ross, popular Chicago cartoonist (early 20th Century). In his early career he worked with Walt Disney, and later collaborated with R.F. Outcault in creating the Buster Brown cartoons.
