Lot, 8 Vintage Noritake Red Mark Azalea Luncheon Plates

Lot, 8 Vintage Noritake Red Mark Azalea Luncheon Plates

Thinking we had purchased all Noritake, we discovered the differences in china marks at home. Since the pattern on all of the pieces are identical but have different china marks, we will group the pieces by china mark and sell in separate but simultaneous auctions: 8 luncheon plates (red Noritake mark circa 1925-1940); 7 salad plates (blue rising sun hand-painted Nippon mark circa 1890-1921); 4 bread & butter plates (green Noritake mark circa 1921-1924); and two cups and two saucers (one is Noritake red mark and one is the blue handpainted Nippon mark). We cannot see any difference in pattern so should you want to bid on both Nippon and Noritake, we will be happy to combine shipping upon request.

This auction lists a lot of 8 luncheon plates in the Noritake Azalea pattern. The plates bear the red M Noritake mark and pattern number 19322 which dates them anyw from 1925 through 1940.
