A lot of 3 bills and 36 coins total, all dated during the WWII or earlier. Picture is of the actual coins up for auction. This lot is of circulated bills and coins that grade from about good on up (I would call the overall average grade of the coins to be good to fine). These are all the real deal, all authentic. Here is a breakdown of what is in this lot: [3] Silver Dollars - These are dollars that used to be issued back in the day, they are the 1935 series, and could be turned in for actual equivalent value in silver. [1] Walking Liberty Half Dollar - silver half dollar, dated 1940. [2] Washington Quarters - silver quarters, dated 1936 and 1942.[3] Mercury Dimes - silver dimes, dated 1918, 1924, and 1943.[1] Barber Nickel - The nickel issued before the buffalo nickel. Dated 1909.[8] Buffalo Nickels - These are in good condition, but due to the design, the date wore off quickly in circulation. Two have readable dates, dated 1930 and 1935, the other six are unreadable.[15] Wheat Pennies - All are dated 1917 through 1941.[2] Steel Pennies - These are 1943 dated pennies, the only year pennies were made of steel to save copper for the war effort.[2] Indian Head Pennies - These were the penny issued before the Lincoln Wheat Penny. Dated 1893 and 1905. A great gift for a Grandparent who remembers these old coins, a historian, a WWII
