This is the 1939 GE H-500 in the rare and much sought after Beetle plastic from my personal collection. This radio is also known as the GE "Turbine". The radio has beautiful marble swirling with brown and gold veins. The radio plays strong and the dial lights beautifully. She is an almost perfect specimen of this radio except for two very small stress hairlines around the area of the grill with are very difficult to see and almost imperceptible.T is a very small chip on one of the louvers of the grill. Cardboard back shows some wear on the top but is 90 percent complete. " General Electric" and GE logo is embossed under the grill. This is a radio that does not come up often in this condition. Please view the pictures to see for yourself the lovely details of this radio. Please see my other auction for this radio's Bakelite twin with plastic molded back and in perfect condition. (last picture of this auction is a preview.) These radios go together very well. Over the next few weeks I will be listing several radios from my collection. International bidders with 10+ positive feedback and a rating of at least 98% may bid after e-mailing me first and will be considered on a case by case basis. If you win mulitiple radios I will combine shipping if possible.
